WACollection is a curated platform for contemporary art that takes art out of the traditional exhibition space and integrates it into everyday life. Since 2007, it has brought together the private collections of its founders and continuously developed new formats to make art tangible, accessible and dialogue-oriented.

WACollection unfolds in several forms: permanent installations in real spaces, regular showcases with established and emerging artists, and the long-term initiative Room For Art, in which hotel rooms are transformed into individual works of art in close collaboration with artists.

Places such as the Hotel Helvetia Zurich and the Volkshaus Basel serve as permanent projection surfaces. Here, art is not used decoratively, but is understood as an integral part of the rooms – accessible, sensual and in constant exchange with guests, the public and the art scene.
